Amanda teaches Korean Moms and  their children English here.  It is right across the street from the little store.  The children are students at Almaty International School.  Their Korean parents are mostly employees of LG the electronics company.

The rent here is over $5000/month for smallish condos.  In 2007 4 new homes were built and sold for 2 million dollars each.
